Lee Carroll Bollinger (born April 30, 1946) is an American attorney and educator who served as the 19th president of Columbia University from 2002 to 2023 and as the 12th president of the University of Michigan from 1996 to 2002.
Lee C. Bollinger is the President Emeritus of Columbia University and a leading scholar on free speech and affirmative action. He teaches constitutional law at Columbia Law School and has authored several books on these topics.
