Bertram Thomas Combs (August 13, 1911 – December 4, 1991) was an American jurist and politician from the Commonwealth of Kentucky. After serving on the Kentucky Court of Appeals, he was elected the 50th Governor of Kentucky in 1959 on his second run for the office.
Bert Thomas Combs, born in 1911 in Clay County, served as governor of Kentucky from 1959 to 1963 and on the United States Sixth Judicial Circuit Court of Appeals in Cincinnati, Ohio, from 1967 to 1970.
Bert Combs was governor of Kentucky from December 1959 to December 1963. The only other elective state office he held was a 1950–1955 term as judge of the Court of Appeals, the highest court in Kentucky at the time.
