Elizabeth Millicent Sutherland, 24th Countess of Sutherland (née Sutherland-Leveson-Gower; 30 March 1921 – 9 December 2019) was a Scottish noblewoman. She was the holder of an earldom in the Peerage of Scotland , and was chief of Clan Sutherland .

Biography. Elizabeth was born at Leven Lodge near Edinburgh, [2] to William Sutherland, 18th Earl of Sutherland and his wife Mary (c. 1740–1766), the daughter and co-heir of William Maxwell, who owned slave plantations in the colony of Jamaica. Her parents died of "putrid fever" (typhus) in Bath in 1766, a few weeks after her first birthday.
