Eben Moglen (born July 13, 1959) is an American legal scholar who is professor of law and legal history at Columbia University, and is the founder, Director-Counsel and Chairman of Software Freedom Law Center.

Eben Moglen is a professor of law at Columbia University and the founder of the Software Freedom Law Center. He has represented free software developers, advised IT companies and governments, and testified before the US Supreme Court on software-related issues.
