David Magie Childs (born April 1, 1941) is an American architect and chairman of the architectural firm Skidmore, Owings & Merrill. He is the architect of the new One World Trade Center in New York City.
David Childs is a renowned euphonium player from the Welsh Valleys, who has performed with orchestras, bands and festivals around the world. He is also a professor of euphonium at the University of North Texas and a Buffet Crampon Besson Artist.
