Matthias Sammer (* 5. September 1967 in Dresden) ist ein deutscher Fußballfunktionär, ehemaliger Fußballspieler und Fußballtrainer. Sammer war als aktiver Fußballspieler von 1986 bis 1997 Nationalspieler, zuerst in der DDR, nach der deutschen Wiedervereinigung in der bundesdeutschen Nationalmannschaft.
