Adams is the first Black and the youngest person ever to serve as president, chairman and CEO of the United States Tennis Association. She was also a highly accomplished player on the WTA tour, winning 20 career doubles titles and reaching the quarterfinals or better in doubles at all four Grand Slam events.
Katrina M. Adams (born August 5, 1968) is an American tennis executive and former professional tennis player from Chicago. She was president and CEO of the United States Tennis Association and chair of the US Open, as well as the chair of the International Tennis Federation Fed Cup and Gender Equality in Tennis committees.
Katrina M. Adams is the first African American to lead the USTA and the International Tennis Federation. She is also a former WTA player, a board member of several organizations, and a recipient of many awards and honors.
