Vera Igorevna Zvonareva (Russian: Вера Игоревна Звонарёва, IPA: [ˈvʲɛrə ˈiɡərʲɪvnə zvənɐˈrʲɵvə] ⓘ; born 7 September 1984) is a Russian professional tennis player. Her career-high singles ranking by the WTA is world No. 2 and in doubles world No. 7.
The Russian doubles star, who gave birth to her daughter in 2016, defied injuries and age to qualify for the year-end championship in Cancun. She and partner Laura Siegemund won the US Open and reached the final at the WTA Finals.
