    Tamu Blackwell (born 11 July 1955; age 68) is an American actress and assistant director from Brooklyn. She worked as the second assistant director on the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode "Extreme Measures".

    As an actor, she guest started in The Jeffersons, Maude, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, Good Times, and Police Story. In film, she appeared in Claudine, A Piece of the Action (with Marc Lawrence) and Streets of Fire (with Deborah Van Valkenburgh).
