Ian McDiarmid ( Angus, 11 de agosto de 1944) é um ator e diretor teatral britânico nascido na Escócia. É vencedor do principal prêmio do teatro britânico, o Prêmio Laurence Olivier, e é também vencedor principal prêmio do teatro americano, o Tony Awards.
Ian McDiarmid (/ m ə k ˈ d ɜːr m ɪ d /; born 11 August 1944) is a Scottish actor and director of stage and screen. Making his stage debut in Hamlet in 1972, McDiarmid joined the Royal Shakespeare Company in 1974, and has since starred in a number of Shakespeare's plays.
