Brenda Doreen Mignon de Banzie [2] (28 July 1909 [2] – 5 March 1981) [3] was a British actress of stage and screen. Biography. De Banzie was the daughter of Edward Thomas de Banzie, conductor and musical director, and his second wife Dorothy (née Lancaster), whom he married in 1908. [4] . In 1911, the family lived in Salford, Lancashire .
Brenda de Banzie was a British actress who starred in films such as The Man Who Knew Too Much, Hobson's Choice and The Entertainer. She won a Tony Award nomination and was a Clarence Derwent Award winner for her stage work.

With the exceptions of Hobson’s Choice and The Entertainer, Brenda de Banzie didn’t get a lot of good parts, though she was fine in entertaining films such as Doctor at Sea (with Dirk Bogarde), A Matter of Innocence (with Hayley Mills), The Pink Panther, and the 1959 remake of The 39 Steps.
Brenda De Banzie was born in 1908 and appeared in many films and plays, including The Entertainer, The Man Who Knew Too Much, and The Pink Panther. She received a Tony Award nomination for her role in John Osborne's original play and died in 1988.
