Adolphus Jean Sweet (July 18, 1920 – May 8, 1985) was an American actor credited with nearly 60 television and film roles and more than 50 roles in stage productions, including performances on Broadway.
Dolph Sweet was a character actor who appeared in Broadway, TV, and film. He was known for his roles in Gimme a Break!, Another World, and The Wanderers. He died of cancer in 1985 while still playing Carl Kanisky on Gimme a Break!
