Grady Demond Wilson (born October 13, 1946) is an American actor and author. The year he turned the age of 26, he began playing the role of Lamont Sanford , the son of Fred Sanford (played by Redd Foxx ) on the NBC sitcom Sanford and Son (1972–77).
Demond Wilson is an actor and a minister, best known for Sanford and Son and The New Odd Couple. He was born in 1946 in Georgia, served in Vietnam, and became a pastor in 1984.
