Martin West (born Martin Weixelbaum; August 28, 1937 – December 31, 2019), was an American actor of film and television best known for playing the grieving father Lawson in John Carpenter's Assault on Precinct 13 and the lead role in Freckles.
Martin Litchfield West, OM FBA (23 September 1937 – 13 July 2015) was a British philologist and classical scholar. In recognition of his contribution to scholarship, he was awarded the Order of Merit in 2014.
Martin West was an actor who appeared in films and TV shows from 1960 to 1976. He played Dr. Phil Brewer on General Hospital, and was in Family Plot with Paul Newman.
