  1. Michael de la Pole, 2nd Earl of Suffolk (1367 – 17 September 1415) was an English nobleman who supported Henry IV (reigned 1399–1413) against Richard II (reigned 1377–1399) during the turmoils of the late 14th century. He died during the Siege of Harfleur in 1415.

  4. Michael de la Pole, 2nd Earl of Suffolk (13611415), a supporter of Henry IV and opponent of Richard. He regained his father's title on Henry's accession in 1399, and died at the Siege of Harfleur .

  6. Michael de la Pole, the second Duke of Suffolk was the eldest son of the first Earl and his wife Katherine Wingfield, the daughter of Sir John Wingfield. He made frequent attempts to have his father's lands and title restored to him finally meeting with success on the issue between 1389 and 1392.

  7. Richard didn’t like the company he kept – but finally in 1398 was allowed to become the 2nd Earl of Suffolk. He played little part in the early Lancastrian reigns, but in 1415 was part of Henry V’s campaign – a disastrous one for the de la Poles.
