Laurence Michael Harvey Parsons, 6th Earl of Rosse, KBE (28 September 1906 – 5 July 1979) was an Anglo-Irish peer.

3 de jul. de 2023 · The following year, Anne married Michael Parsons, 6th Earl of Rosse, moving with him to Birr Castle in Ireland. She gave birth to two more sons: Brendan Parsons, later the 7th Earl of Rosse, and the Hon. Desmond Parsons.
Anne married Michael Parsons, 6th Earl of Rosse, on 19 September 1935. Rosse had extensive estates in Ireland and was nicknamed "The Adonis of the Peerage". They had two sons and five grandchildren: Brendan Parsons, 7th Earl of Rosse (born 21 October 1936), who married Alison Cooke-Hurle on 15 October 1966
Early History. The Parsons family arrived at Birr in July of 1620. They acquired the ruined fortress of Birr. It had been an O’Carroll castle, but had for some twenty years belonged to the Ormond Butlers.
The castle is lived in today by Brendan and Alison Parsons, Earl and Countess of Rosse – Brendan is the seventh earl – who have transformed an old stable block into Ireland’s Historic Science Centre, celebrating the extraordinary achievements of their ancestors.
