Alan Victor Harold Brooke, 3rd Viscount Alanbrooke (24 November 1932 – 10 January 2018) [1] was a British peer. Known to his family and friends as Victor Brooke or Victor Alanbrooke, he was the son of Field Marshal Alan Brooke, 1st Viscount Alanbrooke and his second wife Benita.

15 de fev. de 2018 · The 3rd Viscount Alanbrooke died 10 January, 2018. He was aged 85. Lord Alanbrooke was the last holder of the title, and a younger son of Field Marshal the 1st Viscount, who was sometime Chief of the Imperial General Staff during the Second World War.
He was the seventh and youngest child of Sir Victor Brooke, 3rd Baronet, of Colebrooke Park, Brookeborough, County Fermanagh, and the former Alice Bellingham, second daughter of Sir Alan Bellingham, 3rd Baronet, of Castle Bellingham in County Louth. Brooke's father died when he was just eight years old.
