It is the oldest specialist drama school in the British Isles and a founding member of the Federation of Drama Schools. The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, in short known as LAMDA, is a conservatoire that has been training artists for over 160 years. The academy’s current home is in Baron’s Court, West London, the former home of the Royal Ballet School, where it has been situated since 2003.
LAMDA is a world-class conservatoire offering vocational training and qualifications in acting, directing, musical theatre, and production and technical arts. It has three theatres, professional facilities, and a focus on collaboration and ensemble work.
