Gato lives with his teenage daughter Emma and a small group of people, on an isolated farm without phone or internet. But Emma, tempted by curiosity, gets a mobile phone.
Shadow of the Cat is a Hammer film that takes obvious inspiration from Edgar Allen Poe. We begin with a scene that sees a woman reading "The Raven" to her cat. She's then murdered, under the watchful eye of said cat - leading us to a plot clearly inspired by The Black Cat.
