Best of all Clifford Brown’s Paris recordings is his quartet album of Oct. 15. Joined by pianist Henri Renaud, bassist Pierre Michelot, and drummer Benny Bennett, Brownie is very much in the spotlight throughout the six songs and six alternate takes.
