The Land of Sannikov (Russian: Земля Санникова, romanized: Zemlya Sannikova) is a Soviet 1974 adventure film about the fictional Sannikov Land loosely based on the 1924 novel of the same name by Vladimir Obruchev.
Location of the De Long Islands, beyond which Sannikov land was deemed to be. Sannikov Land (Russian: Земля Санникова) was a phantom island in the Arctic Ocean. Its supposed existence became something of a myth in 19th-century Russia.
