Thrills and spills in the 2025 Dakar Tour. A MAJESTIC BACKDROP IN LES COMES. The evening sun was still glowing over the horizon on the jaw-dropping Les Comes estate, tucked away in the hills of Súria, Catalonia, when the starting gun was fired for the 2025 Dakar.
The Dakar Rally or simply "The Dakar" (French: Le Rallye Dakar ou Le Dakar), formerly known as the "Paris–Dakar Rally" (French: Le Rallye Paris-Dakar), is an annual rally raid organised by the Amaury Sport Organisation. Most events since the inception in 1978 were staged from Paris, France, to Dakar, Senegal.
The 2025 Dakar is starting to take shape: the sixth edition in Saudi Arabia will be held from 3 to 17 January on a course stretching from Bisha to Shubaytah. David Castera presented the outline of the 47th edition to the 700 guests who descended on the Les Comes off-road circuit near Barcelona.
Race format. The Dakar is a rally raid. It consists of one stage per day comprising at least one "special" each (several hundred kilometres long), on- or off-road. The total distance covered is several thousand kilometres.

A ASO revelou nesta quinta-feira a rota completa da 45ª edição do Rally Dakar a menos de um mês do início programado para o evento, no próximo dia 31 de dezembro. Todo o evento acontecerá na Arábia Saudita pelo quarto ano consecutivo, com a tentativa de expandir a prova para os outros países do Golfo terminando sem sucesso.
A corrida será disputada pela quarta vez seguida na Arábia Saudita, após 11 edições na América Latina, que recebeu a prova quando o Dakar foi forçado a abandonar a África devido a crescentes ameaças terroristas.
