Sir Henry Vane-Tempest, 2nd Baronet (25 January 1771 – 1 August 1813) was a British politician. In early life his name was Henry Vane. He changed his name to Vane-Tempest when he inherited from his uncle John Tempest, Jr. in 1793.
The Tempest estates were devolved to his sister's son Henry by the Rev. Sir Henry Vane Bt. of Long Newton upon condition that he assume the name and arms of Tempest. Henry Vane-Tempest Bt. Charles Stewart Henry Vane-Tempest-Stewart, 7th Marquess of Londonderry, KG, MVO, PC, PC (Ire) (13 May 1878 – 10 February 1949), styled Lord Stewart until 1884 and Viscount Castlereagh between 1884 and 1915, was a British peer and politician.
Four deaths in the space of 19 months made Vane Tempest an extremely wealthy young man. Although his father had been created a baronet in 1782, he did not come into possession of the old family property at Long Newton until the death of his bachelor elder brother Lionel Vane in February 1793.

Born on 25 January 1771, Henry Vane was the eldest son of the Reverend Sir Henry Vane, 1st Bt., prebendary of Durham, and his wife, Frances Tempest, daughter and coheir of John Tempest of Sherburn and Wynyard. He was educated at Harrow 1785.
