Vince Gill. Vincent Grant Gill (born April 12, 1957) is an American country, bluegrass, and rock singer, songwriter, and musician. He began in a number of local bluegrass bands in the 1970s, and from 1978 to 1982, he achieved his first mainstream attention as lead singer of the soft rock band Pure Prairie League.
Between the Earth and the Stars is the debut album of American country music singer Jeff Wood. It was released on February 11, 1997, through Imprint Records. The album includes the singles "You Just Get One", "Use Mine" and "You Call That a Mountain".

His debut album, Between the Earth and the Stars, was released on February 11, 1997, under the production of Mark Bright. The album's lead-off single, "You Just Get One", reached number 44 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks (now Hot Country Songs) charts.
Many songs are pleasant enough sounding (the catchy "Long Way From OK," despite the country bumpkin in LA premise, and "You Just Get One," penned in part by Vince Gill), but if looking for something different, forget it.
