Elizabeth Stanhope | ABOUT. Elizabeth studied design in Brighton where during her first year she renovated a three storey former bed and breakfast. After working in London for a few years Lizzie settled back in Leicestershire and began working freelance.
Elizabeth Adela Forbes (née Armstrong; 29 December 1859 – 16 March 1912) was a Canadian painter who was primarily active in the UK. She often featured children in her paintings and School Is Out (painted in Newlyn) is one of her most popular works.
