Behind the Sun is the ninth solo studio album by Eric Clapton, released on 11 March 1985 by Duck Records / Warner Bros. Records. It is Clapton's first collaborative project with Phil Collins who co-produced the album and played on some of the tracks.
The lyrics to "Red Sun" were inspired by a trip McVie took to Africa, during which she wrote the words "When the red sun kisses the sea" on a beach. McVie then combined these lyrics with a chord progression and melody that Buckingham created.

Music career. From 1966 to 1971, Buckingham performed psychedelic and folk rock with the high school rock band originally named the Fritz Rabyne Memorial Band as a bassist and vocalist. [10][11][8] The band regrouped in 1967 due to band member changes and shortened their name to Fritz. [12] .
