CQ is a 2001 comedy-drama film written and directed by Roman Coppola in his feature directorial debut. It premiered out of competition at the 2001 Cannes Film Festival. [2] The film is an homage to 1960s European spy/sci-fi spoofs like 1968's Barbarella and Danger: Diabolik as well as the 1967 documentary spoof David Holzman's Diary.
