Princess Superstar emerged from New York City's underground music scene in the mid-'90s with an eclectic blend of sample-based hip-hop, electro, punk, and swagger. The creation of New York native Concetta Kirschner , the project's debut album, Strictly Platinum , arrived in 1996.
