Baruch Lumet (Burech Lumet; 16 September 1898 – 8 February 1992) was an American actor best known for his work in the Yiddish theatre.
Lumet's parents, Baruch and Eugenia (née Wermus) Lumet, were Jewish and veterans of the Yiddish theatre; they had immigrated to the United States from Poland. His father, an actor, director, producer and writer, was born in Warsaw . [8]
