Chester Alan Arthur II, also known as Alan Arthur, (July 25, 1864 – July 18, 1937) was an American sportsman and art connoisseur. He was the son of Chester A. Arthur, president of the United States from 1881 to 1885. He studied at Princeton University and Columbia Law School.
