The New Adventures of Batman is an animated series that aired on CBS from February 12 to May 28, 1977, featuring the DC Comics superheroes Batman and Robin, and Batgirl. The series was a Filmation and DC Comics production in association with Warner Bros. Television (whose current parent company is Warner Bros. Discovery ).

The New Adventures of Batman is the name of an animated television series. It originally premiered February 10, 1977 on CBS. In this series, the "Dynamic Duo" fights crime in Gotham City, encountering the classic Batman rogues gallery as well as some original villains.
A fat, unscrupulous criminal mastermind, Sweet Tooth, steals the main control for Gotham City's water supply, turns the water into chocolate syrup and wants a ransom. Batman and Robin must go through his candy traps to arrest him and his gang of sweet tooth kids.
The New Adventures of Batman was a half an hour animated television series produced by Filmation and broadcast on the CBS network from February 5th, 1977 until September 5th, 1978, spanning a total of sixteen episodes.
Dando sequência as aventuras animadas do Homem-Morcego que haviam sido canceladas em 1968, a Filmation Associates resolveu resgatar Batman e seu fiel Menino Prodígio, que estavam fazendo sucesso na série Super-Amigos e atuando como convidados especiais de Scooby-Doo (através dos estúdios Hanna-Barbera) e lançou As Novas Aventuras de Batman.
