  1. Albert VI, Duke of Mecklenburg (German: Albrecht VI., Herzog zu Mecklenburg; 1438 – before 27 April 1483) was a Duke of Mecklenburg. Albert was the son of Henry IV, Duke of Mecklenburg, and Dorothea of Brandenburg, the daughter of the Elector Frederick I of Brandenburg.

  2. Reign. In 1363, members of the Swedish Council of Aristocracy, led by Bo Jonsson Grip, arrived at the court of Mecklenburg. They had been banished from Sweden after a revolt against King Magnus IV, Albert's uncle who was unpopular with the nobility.
