Lambach Abbey ( German: Stift Lambach) is a Benedictine monastery in Lambach in the Wels-Land district of Upper Austria, Austria. History. A monastery was founded in Lambach in about 1040 by Count Arnold II of Lambach-Wels.

About. uided tours through the abbey every day at 2pm between Easter Sunday and 31st of October. In addition our museum is open all year between 9am and 5pm.

You can also admire other art and cultural treasures on a guided tour in Lambach Abbey. Guided tours of the monastery from Easter Sunday to October 31, from Wednesday to Sunday at 2 p.m., for registered groups at any time.
