A Máquina do Tempo [1] [2] (em inglês: The Time Machine) é um filme de ficção científica norte-americano de 2002, dirigido por Simon Wells e produzido por Arnold Leibovit. O longa-metragem é baseado no romance homônimo de H. G. Wells, de 1895; e no filme de 1960, como o mesmo nome, de David Duncan.
Após a sua namorada Emma ser assassinada, ele decide então passar da teoria à prática e consegue construir uma máquina do tempo. Só que, ao testá-la, Alexander viaja mais de 800 mil anos rumo ao futuro, onde encontra o planeta Terra sendo dominado por duas raças distintas: os Morlock e os Eloi.
