The first Cluster album since 1997 drawn from their live performance in Berlin on 14 September 2007 was released on Important Records in Spring, 2008. [17] They performed a one-off live collaboration with Chrome Hoof in London on 21 March 2009.
Cluster (also reissued as Cluster 71) is the debut studio album by German electronic music outfit Cluster. It was recorded in 1971 and released the same year by record label Philips. It is also the only album on which producer Conny Plank is credited as a member.

- Dad's Theme
Multi-instrumental and electronics duo of Dieter Moebius and Hans-Joachim Roedelius formed 1971 in Berlin. The band had their roots in the trio Kluster (3) with Conrad Schnitzler and the related project Eruption (8) .
KLUSTER released three albums in 1971 and this is the middle album. Moebius and Roedelius would then change the band's name to CLUSTER and for me the soundscapes would become much better, especially on CLUSTER's first two classic albums.
Since 1974, CLUSTER has recorded many albums of ambitious, pre-ambient electronic music with gorgeous synth arrangements, a groovy tone and a constant sense of melody. "Zuckerzeit", "Sowiesoso" and "Grosses Wasser" are the most representative progressive albums of the band's career.
