In a rare find, Kenny Kirkland appears on an obscure album by saxophonist Courtney Pine, “Within the Realms of Our Dreams” (1990). They burn right down the pike on the standard Charlie Parker tune “Donna Lee,” and Kenny shows his ability to hang at the fast tempo while implementing some gnarly post-bop vocabulary.
