For 105 years, an iconic building has stood just beyond the western edge of the Ohio State Oval. With four sets of classical Doric columns adorning its three-arched entry, Campbell Hall endures, overlooking Mirror Lake, refusing to give way to time.
Campbell Hall is a college preparatory school that implements innovative, research-based best practices with extraordinary attention to students’ growth and well-being. Our curricula provide a challenging and engaging mix of course offerings for students at every grade level.
Campbell Hall houses the College of Education and Human Ecology’s Dept of Human Sciences’ programs in Fashion & Retail Studies, Family Financial Services, Hospitality Management, Human Development and Family Science, and Human Nutrition.

Demolition and abatement are complete at Campbell Hall where crews are now preparing to begin Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing rough-ins and begin reconstruction of the interior, which includes preserving some of the original elements of the building.
Campbell Hall. The Campbell Hall Renovation is a $61.2 million project that includes state funding and supports the College of Education and Human Ecology’s educational goals and mission. The project provides updated space that will promote collaborative work and hands-on learning environments.
