Lanark Grammar School has a long and proud history here in the town of Lanark, South Lanarkshire and we are working hard to continue that legacy, providing rich experiences for all of our students in which they can Learn, Grow and Succeed to the very best of their abilities.
Lanark Grammar School is a secondary school in Lanark, Scotland. It was founded in 1183, and celebrated its octocentenary in 1983, including a visit by The Princess Anne. The school draws its pupils from the town of Lanark and many villages in the local area, including Douglas, Carstairs and Braehead.

Lanark Grammar School is one of 17 secondary schools throughout South Lanarkshire Council serving a very broad catchment area within Clydesdale. We are very proud to be part of the Clydesdale locality and work in increasingly close partnership with Biggar, Carluke and Lesmahagow High Schools.
