Sir Geoffrey Pole of Lordington, Sussex (c. 1501 or 1502 – November 1558) was an English knight who supported the Catholic Church in England and Wales when Henry VIII of England was establishing the alternative Church of England with himself as leader.
The leading members were arrested, and all their properties seized. This destroyed the Pole family. Sir Geoffrey Pole was arrested in August 1538; he had been corresponding with Reginald.

Sir Geoffrey Pole (1502?-1558) -- England Under The Tudors. SIR GEOFFREY POLE, a victim of Henry VIII 's tyranny, born between 1501 and 1505, was brother of Henry Pole, lord Montague, and of Reginald Pole the cardinal, being the youngest son of Sir Richard Pole (d. 1505), by his wife Margaret, afterwards Countess of Salisbury.
