A little masterpiece of apocalyptic jazz-cum-indie rock. Each track is "GUARANTEED GUITAR-FREE", sayeth the sleeve. What you get instead are bug-eyed horns and a hip hop-like blizzard of samples and loops. It makes a uniquely busy groove, grimy and urbane, with singer Dave Callahan bellowing on top.
