Growing together ‘in life in all its fullness’ – John 10:10. Wynyard Church of England Primary School opened in September 2015 as part of a new development at Wynyard. Our school offers pupils an exceptional learning experience and was graded Outstanding in all areas during our Ofsted (January 2024) and SIAMs (June 2018) inspections.
Wynyard School was a boarding school in Watford, Hertfordshire, England . It was attended by C.S. Lewis (from September 1908 until June 1910) and his brother Warren. [1] . Lewis' vivid account of the miseries he suffered there does not seem to have been exaggerated.
Wynyard CE Primary is a happy, caring school which opened in September 2015 with only 16 pupils. Since then, we have grown rapidly and now have over 420 pupils on roll. As a school, we believe that children thrive in an environment where they are happy, challenged and secure.
