They left Epic Records in the middle of 2014 and have since released music independently. Their second album Leo Rising was released on September 9, 2016. In 2017, the duo disbanded Karmin to focus on Qveen Herby, Amy Noonan's alter ego. The project moves away from pop in favor of more of an R&B and hip-hop/rap sound.

8 de ago. de 2016 · O Leo Rising é um álbum que me deixou bem confuso: ele é maravilhoso e morno ao mesmo tempo. Eles acertam em cheio nas faixas que curti (e curti MESMO. Come With Me ouço até hoje!) mas sei lá, as outras tracks tem uma sonoridade original mas eu não consegui me apegar a elas, como se tivesse faltando algo.
