There was a North Kelvinside Secondary School that served most of the Maryhill district of Glasgow. However, the school was closed and the vast majority of the pupils transferred to Cleveden Secondary School in the Kelvindale area on the other side of the River Kelvin to the west.
8 de jun. de 2023 · PUPILS and staff celebrated the beginning of “a new chapter” in the life of North Kelvinside Primary at its official opening this week. Councillor Christina Cannon, the city’s education convener, unveiled the plaque with proud headteacher Susan Thomson.
A photograph of North Kelvinside Secondary School, taken during the 1970s. The earliest buildings of this school on Oban Drive were built in 1914 and 1920 in red sandstone, and the latest during the 1960s in the concrete-clad style typical of that period.

The school had been opened in 1914 to provide secondary education in the North Kelvinside area of the city, which had been under the jurisdiction of the Maryhill School Board until it was amalgamated with the Glasgow School Board in 1911.
11 de mai. de 2020 · Following a public vote the new non-denominational school with community sports facilities in the North of Glasgow will be called North Kelvinside Primary.

11 de jul. de 2016 · All of these pupils demonstrated the originality and independence which we hope is a hallmark of North Kelvinside Secondary School. Last year, the school newspaper was revived and renamed 'The School Bag'.
