The majority of students on the DPhil at Oxford have first completed the two-year Oxford MPhil in Economics. You can also apply for the DPhil if you hold, or will hold a Master’s degree or equivalent in Economics from other universities.

The course in Economics and Management provides an opportunity to combine the discipline of Economics with a range of subjects in Management Studies. In the first year undergraduates take introductory courses in economics, general management and financial management.
