William Clarence "Willie" White (29 August, 1854 – 1 September, 1937), (often referred to as W. C. White) was a son of Ellen G. White and James Springer White, two of the founders of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. He became a well-known Seventh-day Adventist minister and church leader.

29 de set. de 2021 · William C. White was a civilian astronomer who accompanied Capt. Joseph W. Kittinger, Jr. in a piloted balloon flight to observe the stars in 1962. He conducted experiments to measure the effects of atmosphere on telescope observations and recorded the first images of the Crab Nebula.
