The Cranbrook Educational Community is an education, research, and public museum complex in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. This National Historic Landmark was founded in the early 20th century by newspaper mogul George Gough Booth.

The Cranbrook Educational Community, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975 and designated a National Historic Landmark in 1989, was founded in 1904 by newspaper mogul George Gough Booth and his wife, Ellen Scripps Booth.
Founded in 1904 by George and Ellen Scripps Booth, Cranbrook is one of the world’s leading centers of education, science, and art. Its 315 acre National Historic Landmark campus is graced by architecturally significant buildings, outdoor sculpture, and natural and tended landscapes.
