Eric Anthony Roberts (born April 18, 1956) is an American actor. [1] [2] Roberts has amassed more than 700 credits and is one of the most prolific English-speaking screen actors. [3] [4] [5] Roberts' career began with a leading role in King of the Gypsies (1978) for which he received his first Golden Globe Award nomination.
Eric Roberts is an Academy Award nominee for his role in Runaway Train (1985), and a three-time Golden Globe nominee for Runaway Train, Star 80 (1983) and King of the Gypsies (1978).
