Biography. See also. References. External links. Marion Rockefeller Weber (born 1938) is the second eldest daughter of Laurance Spelman Rockefeller (1910–2004) and Mary French (1910–1997) and a fourth generation member of the Rockefeller family.

Kinship Earth’s Flow Fund is devoted to advancing Marion Rockefeller Weber’s Flow Funding Model, a revolutionary and trust-based approach to philanthropy. Deploying her own “Flow Funds” since 1993, Marion pioneered the field of trust-based giving designed to efficiently flow starter grant donations to grassroots initiatives and activists.
The Flow Fund Circle Structure. In this example of Flow Funding, Marion Rockefeller Weber acts as a Flow Fund Circle Initiator, in which she chooses her own Flow Funders, and gives each one $20,000 per year, for three years. Each Flow Fund Circle has five or more Flow Funders.
So at the end of my sabbatical, I remember rolling on the floor and having a vision present of a many-armed spirit of generosity. Also at that time I made out my will and left money for visionary friends and associates to give away. This idea seemed so wonderful I decided to do this while I was alive and thus began a foundation without walls, paperwork, or bureaucracy called the Flow Fund Circle.
