I already mentioned Ann Wilson from Heart, but Mark Arm of Mudhoney and Chris Cornell of Soundgarden show up on here to perform with Alice in Chains as Alice Mudgarden. They provide some nice variety, but the focus remains on the simple, gloomy, and sometimes almost barren sound of Cantrell’s acoustic guitar and how Staley sings over it.

4 de fev. de 1992 · The surprising addition of Ann Wilson is just great. As someone who was not a big fan of the overblown grunge/alternative movement of the early-90s, I think Sap is their finest moment and most enjoyable outing.
