Davy is Coconut Records' 2009 second release. The album is, as was Nighttiming, the product of Jason Schwartzman, who wrote all of the songs and performs the majority of the instruments. The first official single for the album was "Microphone."

6 de jun. de 2009 · Nighttiming debuted in 2007 and in the beginning of this year, Schwartzman released the follow-up, Davy. Like the debut, Davy is chock-full of light, folky influences with plenty of piano and guitar to go around.
Recording under the alias Coconut Records, Schwartzman’s second solo effort, Davy, is just as good as his first, Nighttiming. Davy is reminiscent of a Sgt. Pepper’s . . . era album, complete with horns and the sounds of an orchestra warming up, distinctly heard in the track “Drummer.”
